4" Professional Agitation Port Upgrade for Copper Stills
Our 4" agitation port opens the door to a trick the pros have used for years. It lets you mount an agitation motor and paddle to your still, keeping the wash and its distillates moving so your runs go faster and your conversion improves.
Stirring the wash can trim heat-up and distillation times noticeably, which is why more home distillers are adding this feature. Each port is professionally installed with lead-free solder and made from food-grade stainless steel, ready for you to fit the agitator of your choice.

Good to know
A 4 inch agitation port brings one of the most useful small changes in distilling to your copper still: stirring. Mount an agitation motor and paddle through the port to keep your wash and its distillates moving, a trick professional distillers have relied on for years.
What does a 4 inch agitation port change?
Moving the wash spreads heat evenly through the charge instead of letting it build up in one spot. The result is faster runs and better conversion, with noticeably shorter heat-up and distillation times. If you like to treat distilling as a series of experiments, it gives you something new to test: run the same wash with and without agitation, then compare your notes. That's a big part of why more home distillers are adding it.
- Agitator-ready: fits the motor and paddle of your choice.
- Faster runs: speeds up heat-up and distillation.
- Food-grade stainless steel and lead-free solder: clean materials where they count.
- Professionally installed: we fit the port for you.
The wider 4 inch opening is our professional option, and we also offer a 2 inch port. Not sure which suits your still and motor plans? Send us a question and we'll help you decide. Agitation helps whether you're working a wash for fuel alcohol or, with federal (TTB) permits, for spirits. U.S. shipping is free.
