How does a 10 gallon essential oil still keep plant material off the element?
The perforated plate sits above the element, so herbs, flowers or other solids rest on it while heat and vapor rise through them. Two 3" cleanouts, one above the plate and one below, make loading and cleanup easier, and a 3/4" ball-valve drain lets you empty the pot. The same plate also makes it a handy grain-on still.
